The Girl From Everywhere by Heidi Heilig

I’m not really sure what to say about this book.

I liked it, that’s for sure. I’m really curious to see how there could be a second book, as the ending to this one was very conclusive. Of course it didn’t tie up all loose ends, but the ending was satisfactory.

After reading the summary for the second book, I feel like I already know the ending. It feels a little predictable?

I finished this book the first week of January, and after thinking about the story, and telling my friends at work about it, I think I might pick up the second book.

I want to see what happens between Kashmir and Nix. I want to see what happens with her father.

And it’s an interesting thing, to write about time. A few times when reading the book I had to stop and wrap my head around what Heilig was saying. It was truly a hard read at times.
